LGRA and LURE COURSING (ASFA and AKC)

Lure coursing is a performance event for sighthounds where they do what they love to do---RUN---while testing their functional ability and coursing skills.  Hounds chase plastic bags which simulates chasing game.

NACSW K9 NOSE WORK

Nose Work is a fun way to bond with your dog and work as a team. Using their nose to detect and identify specific scents. The dog locates the containers, boxes and luggage where the scent has been placed. The searches are conducted outside, in buildings and on vehicles. The handler must be able to identify when their dog indicates the location with the scents. To be successful the handler must learn to trust the dog.



​BARN HUNT

Barn Hunt is a sport that allows dogs to use their hunting instinct. It is open to all dogs that can fit through an 18" wide/high hole. The dogs will be required to climb on straw bales and go through straw tunnels during the hunt.
